ABOUT Z CHRIS
I am a practicing general internal medicine physician with over 30 years of experience. My interests include outpatient general internal medicine, urgent care medicine, and telehealth/virtual health. I teach outpatient medicine to internal medicine residents in my practice in Alexandria, Virginia. When asked what I teach these young physicians, I answer that I teach residents that medicine is a job of humility, and I teach smart physicians to close their mouths and listen to their patients. Patients will tell you what is wrong with them, but you have to listen to them to help figure this out. An approach of humility and the ability to listen are two of the most important traits of the greatest physicians.
