I\'m an Engineer with an MS degree and seven years of experience developing products in the medical device industry. I have helped companies bring products from concept into production and have developed in-depth knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing, materials, controls, and processes. Working with cross-functional teams, I have also developed a working knowledge of project management, quality, design control, and risk management.Here are some examples- As an R&D Engineer at US Medical Innovations, I led the redesign of a plasma electrosurgical handpiece CAD, met design requirements, built and tested prototypes, and streamlined assembly processes. I managed design transfer activities through a traceability matrix and Gantt chart to ensure 80% on-time milestone delivery and reduced manufacturing costs by 60% through conferring with suppliers locally and abroad on specifications, quality, equipment, and services- As a Product Development Engineer at Vasoptic Medical, I worked with a multidisciplinary team and was primarily responsible for designing, prototyping, and testing an optomechanical system, following design control principles. I also drafted technical documents, led investigations, and refined specifications to streamline manufacturing.
