Yvonne Montoya-Matthews, MS, CNS, LDN, BCHN®, is a double-board certified functional nutritionist, certified herbalist and educator based in Denver, Colorado. She has a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Integrative health. She specializes in sports nutrition, hormone balance for all, optimal gut and digestive health. She looks to the root cause of one’s health concerns, uses personalized nutrition and food as the foundation, coupled with blood and other lab work, botanicals and supplements for optimal health. She is committed to sharing her knowledge in science and evidence-based nutrition along with cultivating and listening to one’s inner wisdom. She works alongside world-renowned medical doctors to provide nutrition and care for the most complex patient cases. She doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all diet or plan of care. Rather she treats each client with personalized care, using food as a foundation in which to build small sustainable changes that result in lifelong habits and a joyful way of life. She currently sees private clients at her private practice Nutrition Designed. She also runs group programs, works with corporate clients and teaches nutrition at Land of Verse herbal school based in the Bay area. She completed her 5th marathon back home in Southern California in May 2023. And co-works daily with her 2 pittie rescue mutts, Bodee and Lucy.
