ABOUT YVONNE KANYANGE-NYENYA

Albert Einstein said that \"the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.\" As a practicing nurse, I used to get frustrated with redundant documentation in the medical record that took away valuable time from my patients so I set out to look for ways to improve our systems. I made a career pivot to become a clinical informaticist, designing workflows that maximize clinician efficiency by leveraging technology to augment their work. The same penchant for process improvement has taken me into healthcare analytics where I transformed data into actionable insights into areas with opportunities to improve the quality of care delivered to patients. I use my curiosity and love for continuous learning to stay abreast with healthcare and technology trends. I also value building relationships and believe that every team member has something to contribute if given the chance. I seek to earn the trust of partner teams by being detail-oriented, getting a deep understanding of issues, and insisting on the highest quality in the products I deliver. I am looking for the opportunity to use these qualities along with my clinical and technology expertise to continue innovating on behalf of clinicians and patients by championing technologies that increase efficient and quality care
