ABOUT YVONNE HARDY

With nearly two decades of experience in the US Marine Corps and the higher education sector, I am a bilingual educator and leader passionate about empowering and supporting learners of all ages and walks of life. Currently pursuing a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration, I also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Psychology and multiple certifications in Agile Scrum and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.As an assistant professor at Palomar College, I deliver engaging and effective courseware, facilitate small-group discussions, mentor students, and serve as a role model for leadership instruction. My role also includes managing and leading virtual instruction through online platforms, where I leverage my communication and problem-solving skills to ensure a seamless and enriching learning experience.In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I am dedicated to continuous learning and professional development. My background in the Marine Corps has instilled in me a strong work ethic, resilience, and a commitment to excellence, which I bring to every aspect of my educational career. I thrive in dynamic environments and am always seeking new ways to innovate and improve the educational experience for my students.I am eager to connect with fellow educators, industry professionals, and potential employers who share a commitment to educational excellence and lifelong learning.
