As a copywriter, I\'ve worked for major agencies including seven years for a multinational in Milan, Italy.Most recently I worked for an in-house agency at Reckitt Benckiser on OTC products (consumer and professional). As a copywriter my advertising experience includes packaged goods, cosmetics, skin and hair care, pharmaceuticals (consumer and HCP), social media, real estate, corporate, speech writing and branding.As an author, my articles and essays have appeared in major magazines and newspapers such as New York Magazine, Oprah, Bride\'s, The New York Observer, and The New York Times.My essays are included in three anthologies - Best Food Writing, 1993; Tenderheaded: Comb Bending Hair Stories; Block by Block: Jane Jacobs and the Future of New York.As a writer I have written for real estate firms focusing on marketing and communications.As a blogger, I blog on etiquette and civility. I also give workshops and talks on the subject.I speak Italian fluently and my French is pretty good.

   I began as the copywriter for Customer Service which entailed re-writing Help Center articles, emails and other communications to customers and the CS team. I then became a content editor on the editorial team. I\'m a contributor to the blog on a variety of subjects. I\'m also the editor of \'crime & astonishment,\' Audible\'s mystery and thriller monthly newsletter. My memoir, Quite the Contrary, On Life, Work, and Loving Miles Davis was released on Audible in February, 2022.
