In my role as Director of DEIB, I support the firm in accomplishing its recruitment, retention, and community engagement goals. In my practice I advise small and large organizations in both Labor & Employment Law and general business matters. I am also a licensed Realtor with Team Herr, Private Real Estate Collection at Top Team in the #1 Brokerage in Cincinnati. An all female team of top notch real estate professionals, I bring my love and knowledge of the city, legal and business expertise to help people find their dream homes. A home vintner and proprietor of Vette\'s Vineyards and WSET L2 certified wine educator and Founder and Chief Wine and Culture Curator of \"Wine Inculturated,\" I use my passion for wine and culture to create curated wine experiences that help diversify the wine industry and expand wine enthusiasm to new audiences. From 20••••22, I served as the CEO of Democracy for America, a national progressive PAC founded in 2004 by Governor Howard Dean. DFA has over 1 million members nationwide and since its founding has raised more that $70M for progressive candidates and issues, and has supported more than candidates for office across the country and up and down the ticket. DFA is dedicated to expanding the electorate and electing candidates that reflect the New American Majority of brown and black, female and white progressive leaders. From 20••••18, I served as a member of Cincinnati City Counsel and as President Pro Tem. I focused on taking care of our city’s most needy residents, helping neighborhoods and communities thrive, supporting small business development, and advancing policies that support women, children and families. From 20••••12, I enhanced my leadership skills by establishing and directing the Pre-Law Program at my alma mater, Miami University. In this role, I advised and counseled students, but also managed marketing, alumni relations, fundraising, budgeting, recruiting, program development, and served as the internal and external liaison and representative for the program.
