At Narratives for Change, LLC, Yvette is a poet and storytelling facilitator. She works with women and girls to use storytelling to heal, to create art, for consciousness-raising, and for advocacy. Her passion is to cultivate, expand, and preserve the stories of women, particularly BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color.) She balances her practice between art-making, teaching, and supporting the growing needs of community groups, socially-engaged organizations and their leaders. Her work and accomplishments are featured in several business books, articles, and in a Harvard Business case. Yvette and her husband are practitioners and facilitators for the Mindfulness Community of Atlantic Beach Florida.
