Implement day-to-day procurement requirements to support the Global Category of Metal Machining for Semi Conductor and Aerospace markets. Act as the face of Supply Chain for the San Antonio plant while leading MRO Procurement and Sourcing. Responsibilities include soliciting and receiving quotes, negotiating terms, supplier selection and elimination, purchase order (PO) entry and maintenance, supplier performance management, cost optimization, and issue resolution. • Implement business and sourcing category strategy elements. • Develop new supply sources where vendors are no longer competitive and/or underperforming. • Negotiate highest quality and best value terms with suppliers, based on cost analysis and volume planning • Provide subject matter expertise, training and mentorship to Procurement Specialist(s) & develop standard work. • Achieved performance objectives for FY2021 for Supplier OTD at 96%. • Realized Cost Savings of >$500k in FY2021 by executing economic order quantity strategies.
