As licensing designer I develop product and packaging concepts alongside buyers in various categories. I then liaise with appointed suppliers to get products through sampling and licensor approval so they can be mass produced and shipped. I also support other designers in the team with creative and artwork projects to ensure deadlines are met. • Ensure the IPs I work with are respected and their identities are consistent, while adding something different to make products stand out. • Developed the Grinch product lines for 2022 and 2023 and redesigned the packaging style guide. • Developed various craft and stationery products for Disney and Marvel, particularly Disney Princess, Frozen, Avengers and Spider-Man. This included using 3D software to develop various paint-your-own products and hanging Christmas decorations. • Developed the Taz plush and the Harry Potter plush lines. • Worked with the senior food designer to develop the Gourmet Kitchen soup range, the Two Scoops ice cream range, and the Shire Oaks pie and pasty range. • Worked on various products for other IPs, particularly Harry Potter, Scooby-Doo, LOL Surprise, Rainbow High, Paw Patrol, Play-Doh.
