ABOUT YVES DELISLE

After 36+ years at RBC and U.S. Bank I retired. I then joined Desjardins Card Services on January 21st, 2013. With my mandate at Desjardins ending, I decided to continue offering my services helping companies and financial institutions with their commercial card programs. Several mandates were completed over the next few years. Over the years I was able to acquire experience in accounting, audit, operations, customer service, personnel management, financial analysis, commercial lending, marketing (advertising, promotions, & sponsorships), and lastly sales. Flexibility, adaptability and the willingness to embrace challenges are key elements of my banking experience. Analysing and responding to RFP\'s, particularly with the public sector, were key skills acquired over the years. I am currently enjoying sales and customer service in a retail environment. After graduation in 1976, with a BBA from UNB, I continued my formal education and obtained the Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB) designation in 1982. I followed up with a Diploma in Finance and Accounting from the ICB in 1983. I completed the three core courses required for the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designation in 1988. I completed several graduate level courses in business within the McGill Graduate Diploma in Business program from 1981 to 1985. From 1986 to 1997 I completed a BA in History at Concordia University.
