Develop, implement, and monitor the Quality Management Systems to achieve company and customer standards and all statutory requirements relating to food safety• Lead and mentor the quality control/assurance and hygiene teams at Rice and Foods site• Assure all raw and packaging materials and finished products comply to agreed standards• Establish all relevant employees fully understand each customer’s requirements• Provide training and guidance in all aspects of good manufacturing practice including production, hygiene, safety, and quality assurance for all staff• Ensure full compliance with good manufacturing practice across the organization• Undertake detailed root cause analysis in the event of non-conforming product and implement appropriate corrective action plan•Develop and maintain material and product specifications• Endorse artwork designs to ensure compliance• Ensure environmental, process and quality audits are carried out in accordance with the relevant procedures, in particular raw material, returns, milling, packaging and finished goods• Advise management on all aspects of quality and production and the efficient use of resources• Lead all external audits and develop and execute appropriate corrective action plans•Develop and implement an internal audit plan with appropriate delivery of corrective action plans• Continually review and develop the HACCP system• Collaborate with the operations team to develop production processes to reduce waste and quality defects• Team up with NPD team in innovation and renovation of products• Ensure the effective management of product trials
