   Heading the Sourcing department for Motor Controller Company- Electronics & Mechanical commodity sourcing - it includes PCB Assembly (SMT & TH) along with active & passive E-Components, Mechanical Commodities - Injection Molding Plastic Parts with Engineering material Valox-553, Bare PCB/ Double Sided Metal Clad PCB, Aluminium Die-Casting (PDC) parts Rubber Parts, Wiring Harness, Fasteners, Aluminium Extrusion Parts etc- Vendor Development activities. Identifying, Evaluating, qualifying & selecting suitable suppliers- Vendor agreement sign-off for warranty & supply terms, negotiation strategy as per business requirements, Negotiations on the rate, payment terms, warranty terms, freight conditions and Cost finalization. Supply, warranty & tooling agreement sign-off with suppliers- Identify and support Cost Reduction projects through Value Analysis / Engineering, Alternate source, volume discounts etc- Responsible for global sourcing for the assigned commodities- Weekly update to the Sourcing VP i.e. to the Corporate team in the USA- Ensure develope reliable sources as per the sourcing plan. It includes taking care of order as per the lead time, also support to global sourcing- Excellent Knowledge of SAP MM, Inventory Management, Import Procurement, PPAP, APQP procedures, Vendor Development, Cost Finalization- I have to ensure timely availability of right quality parts for production- EV Commodities handled - Li-Ion Battery Cells, NMC BAK 18650, NMC SAMSUNG INR21700, BMS, PMSM Motor, Battery Charger, Motor Controller, Terminal Blocks, Nickel Strips Lugs, Battery Enclosures, distributions Boxes, Dc-Dc converter, Battery pack, & Battery Swapping Stations etc- An effective communicator with excellent relationship management skills and strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, Team Handing, CFT etc- localization of all the critical commodities like PCBA, PCB, die casting, plastic, Rubber etc
