As an accountant at the Birla Group, my primary responsibilities include- Dealer Account Management- Preparing daily dealer account ageing reports- Addressing and resolving payment-related issues efficiently- Maintaining the company’s financial ratios and adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles- Billing and Documentation- Handling both trade and non-trade material billings- Creating and managing principal accounts for rural and urban districts- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all company documents- Communication and Coordination- Managing official correspondence via email- Regularly interacting with dealers and retailers to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns- Visiting dealers to understand and resolve any product-related issues- Team and Training Management- Briefing junior employees and onboarding new company freshers regarding their roles and responsibilities- Strategic and Budget Management- Overseeing the company’s budget ratio while focusing on Value-Added Products (VAP) and new product launches- Ensuring pricing consistency of materials in line with company policies.
