Part of the University of Manchester’s first Eco Racing Team: working towards competing in the 2027 Shell Eco-Marathon. Our goal is to design and build an ultra-efficient vehicle that pushes the boundaries of sustainable engineering and aerodynamic performance.Key focus areas- Developing and optimising aerodynamic bodywork and surface finishes for drag reduction- Collaborating across mechanical, electrical, and materials subteams to achieve maximum energy efficiency.I have been researching and developing solutions to optimise vehicle performance for the team\'s concept car- Completed research into ventilation systems, focusing on airflow management for component cooling and drag reduction- Conducted research on surface finish effects to evaluate their influence on boundary layer behaviour and aerodynamic drag.Currently analysing potential concepts for further aerodynamic refinement, integrating CFD results with design feasibility and manufacturing constraints.
