ABOUT YUTA HASHIMOTO
Hi, I’m Yuta. I grew up in Japan and moved to Canada in September 2024 after graduating from a Japanese high school. I’m pursuing a joint major in Business Administration and Economics at Simon Fraser University (SFU).I\'m fascinated by how microeconomics explains everyday life. We often forget the value of what we already have and keep chasing what’s missing. But economics reminds me that we already have more than we realize: our family, our close friends, and even ourselves. Economics teaches me that gratitude, not just efficiency. Outside academics, I lead and take part in student and international projects such as PROJECT any, which collaborates with Japanese companies on education-tech initiatives, and the Japanese Career Network (JCN) at SFU, supporting career development for SFU Japanese students.Always happy to talk about economics, life as an international student, or anything else!
