ABOUT YOUSSEF TALEB
I\'m a naturalist, a thinker, and a builder, driven by curiosity, change, and consistency.Currently a junior at the University of British Columbia, I study Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology with a minor in Data Science, but my curiosity lives at the intersections. I’m equally fascinated by natural history, technology, education, and philosophy. In 2025, I founded Sirb, a biodiversity and conservation education program for youth. Sirb is where my values converge: science, education, and community. It’s a living, growing experiment in what inclusive, culturally rooted science education can feel like, and I’m now actively developing the next chapter in its journey.I\'m also a Rise Global Fellow, part of a global network of young people building ideas for a better future.I\'m always eager to connect with curious people, whether to collaborate, exchange ideas, or simply share stories about the world we’re trying to understand.
