Hi, I’m Yusra, a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at the University of Edinburgh, studying Data, Inequality and Society.I started out in software development, but I’ve never wanted my work to just be about code. For me, technology is a tool to tackle bigger questions like how we build fairer systems or create spaces where young people feel seen.I co-founded the20space, a platform built to make our twenties a little less lonely and a lot more honest. I’ve also worked on projects from predicting sugarcane growth in Mauritius to winning a PwC hackathon. Through all of this, I’ve learned that impact comes from mixing curiosity, resilience, and community.Always open to connecting, especially if you’re into tech for good or just figuring life out one step at a time.
