Current Role | Security Detection Developer at Wealthsimple: • Design and deploy high-fidelity detections in SIEM and custom security tools. • Analyze large datasets to identify visibility gaps and improve detection accuracy. • Automate workflows to enhance team efficiency and response to evolving threats. • Support incident investigations through thorough root cause and impact analysis. Past Experience | Cybersecurity Specialist at Bell Canada (Threat Hunting) • Investigated 100+ security events and developed 40+ playbooks. • Reduced malware incident response times by up to 50% through automation. • Earned an Innovation Award for developing a generative AI assistant that prioritized threat intelligence.
