Yuriy Gankin, Ph.D, is a life science researcher, serial entrepreneur, and inventor who has over two decades of expertise in helping life sciences, biotech and pharma companies develop IT solutions for accelerating the discovery and development of novel therapies which treat disease and improve the quality of patient lives.He currently serves as Principal and Chief Scientific and Strategy Officer at Quantori, a developer of intelligent IT and data science solutions for life sciences, pharma, and healthcare organizations. Quantori is at the forefront of transforming drug discovery and healthcare with a unique value proposition that combines advanced analytics, scientific knowledge management, and software engineering excellence.Previously, Dr. Gankin was Chief Life Sciences Officer and Vice President of the Life Sciences Business Unit at EPAM, following the acquisition of GGA Software Services by EPAM. As the cofounder of GGA, he helped build the company into a leading provider of scientific software engineering, algorithm development, and data curation services.Dr. Gankin\'s research has been published in multiple scientific journals and he holds several patents for targeted cancer therapy. His expertise spans research, database development, and modeling in chemistry and biology. Dr. Gankin holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Tufts University where he is a Visiting Scientist, in addition to an MBA from MIT Sloan.
