Implemented special maintenance plan for the NFP (client) to minimize the failover situations for the HA 3 node cluster (3 clusters total). • Created the migration assessment and plan for the NFP to move 3 SQL Server (on prem) to the Azure cloud (managed instances). • Implemented the conversion from the on-prem SQL Server to the Azure SQL Managed instance. Corrected all databases to be compatible with Azure Managed instance requirements. Isolated external code (file management) to the ExternalCode database and moved it to the Azure SQL VM. Developed CLR library to execute functions and procedures for the File Management remotely. Implemented linked servers, moved all SSRS reports and modified them to work correctly on Azure SSRS SQL VM. Moved all SSIS packages into the Data Factory and integrated the runtime to be stored on the Managed instance. Migrated all SQL Agent jobs to run on the Managed Instance. • Created assessment for the FreshDirect to migrate Oracle Data Warehouse (11g) to the Azure SQL Data Warehouse. • Improved ETL from the CRM SQL VM to the SQL Managed Instance (implemented Dynamic ETL). The network traffic was decreased by times and the runtime reduced by 40 times.
