Manage Laser Scanning New Product Introduction (NPI) team, work with cross-functional team (Marketing/Engineering/Manufacturing/Service) to develop and support the next-generation wafer inspection equipment from Marketing Requirement Document (MRD) definition to mass production ramp. • Present at Executive level management for product life cycle (PLC) phase exit including program schedule, priority, risk and mitigation plan. • Drive service and design team to resolve critical field customer escalations (optics, opto-mech, image acquisition), prioritize continuous improvement process (CIP) to meet system MTBF and MTBI, and improve tool availability in production for customer satisfaction. • Drive Engineering Change Order (ECO) release and Factory Change Order (FCO) execution to reduce long-time tool down and service cost; communicate with customer for service roadmap. • Drive and prioritize DfX for predictive maintenance features of hardware failure and system performance drift as sellable option to increase service contract penetration, contract average selling price (ASP) and gross margin (GM). • Define and optimize worldwide spares stocking with parts planning and buyer team to support multiple projects ramp in all the development phases. • Manage the service documentations and training of the world-wide service engineer for knowledge transfer and self-sufficiency to reduce MTTR.
