Biovance Capital is a new fund up to € 60M to invest in early-stage drug-development companies across Europe developing innovative therapeutics across all disease areas and drug modalities (small and large molecules, vaccines, cell, and gene therapies).• Led scientific evaluation of therapeutic programmes across immunology, oncology, neurodegeneration and novel modalities (e.g, TPD, multi-specifics and ADCs).• Reviewed and interpreted experimental packages covering drug hit molecule screening and identification, mechanism of action (MoA), target biology, PK/PD, biomarker, safety and disease relevance.• Identified scientific gaps, red flags and development risks; provided clear recommendations for de-risking.• Evaluated clinical readiness, IND feasibility, competitive landscape, differentiation strategy and biomarker/PKPD/safety translatability.• Provided scientific feedback to early-stage biotechs to strengthen experimental design, biomarker strategy, and evidence generation for future fundraising.• Contributed to multiple completed investments, supporting scientific diligence, strategic framing and post-investment scientific oversight.
