About Yu Noda
I help inventors legally protect their hard-earned inventions. Serving clients in advanced and emerging technology through patent prosecution is highly rewarding work. Translating trailblazing technical subjects into legally useful claim languages is something I really enjoy every day because it is the unique contribution I can make to society by combining my extensive chemistry and materials research experience and developing aptitude in intellectual property (IP).A part of who I am as of January, 2026: I\'m 3L hybrid JD law student at University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. I\'m thrilled to be a part of this part-time hybrid program that focus on Intellectual Property, Technology, and Information Law.\"Interesting\" time for contemplating the judicial system and important constitutional legal questions, to say the least. While mostly online, we travel to Concord, NH once in every semester to meet and learn in person for several days. It has been a great educational experience with a wonderful cohort of many like-minded professionals. Graduating this semester and preparing for the July bar. I am a registered patent agent admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). At Fish & Richardson, I primarily work on patent application preparation and prosecution for clients in the oil & gas, chemicals, semiconductor, medical device, and other high-tech industry. My primary interest lies in renewable energy, carbon capture, clean fuels, and sustainability. I have a Ph.D. in Energy and Mineral Engineering with a minor in Chemical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. I have over 10 years of R&D experience in a wide range of advanced materials, catalysis, chemical engineering, and nanotechnology. Particular interest in hydrogen (e.g, photocatalytic energy conversion in nanomaterials), inorganic catalysts (e.g, zeolites), renewable energy (e.g, solar, battery, and biomass), and processing of renewable resources (e.g, sustainable aviation fuels). Extensive international experience (Japan, US, Germany, and Czech Republic) A native Japanese from Yokohama. Bilingual (Japanese and English). Learning Czech and Korean languages.\"Dobrý den\" Interested in Art in Science and Science in Art. R.I.P, Mr. David Lynch. What\'s your next film, David Fincher?
