About Yumi Zaic
Growing up in a multi-cultural family in the US, I have always been fascinated with communication, psychology and cultures. After finishing school and a few years in the hospitality industry, I was lead to a fascinating field of Cultural Training. While learning about corporate training and coaching in the Cultural and Relocation field for over 15 years, I came to have a natural feel for connecting with people of all different backgrounds and languages. While living in China and Japan as expats, we absorbed the local language and culture as well as learned about the product development process. My husband and I established Zaic Design in 2013, and in 2019 we have established a design and engineering firm in Princeton, NJ to help innovative companies develop, prototype and realize their product ideas ahead of the competition. We specialize in precision instruments but take on all kinds of novel ideas for a future product. We are excited to use our expertise, connections and in-house prototyping capabilities to help companies to develop products better and faster.
