In my current role as a Medical Interpreter Supervisor at the Interpreter Services Department in Harborview Medical Center, I am responsible for supervising a team of medical interpreters and supporting staff in the performance of duties associated with providing interpretation and translation for patients, medical providers and staff. I also manage translation projects for the hospital, provide education on working with interpreters to the hospital staff and medical provider, and manage bilingual staff assessments.
