WORK HISTORY
Research Fellow Director of Marketing @Ghsen Global Research
As the lead author, I explored disparities in nursing homes by centering the lived experiences of ethnic and racial minority residents and their sense of belonging within long-term care settings. This work was deeply meaningful to me, as it highlighted how equity and inclusion directly shape dignity and quality of care. I authored a manuscript currently under submission for peer-reviewed publication, proposing practical strategies to improve resident well-being and foster more inclusive care environments. Throughout the project, I worked closely with mentors and interdisciplinary research teams to connect these stories and findings to broader conversations on healthcare equity and policy. In my role as Director of Marketing, I helped advance global health equity by sharing stories and creating digital content. I focused on highlighting unequal access to healthcare around the world. I led campaigns aimed at making global health issues feel more human and accessible through social media. I was able to raise awareness and amplify underrepresented voices around health disparities, primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa.
