About Yuliya Mykhaylovska
Great jobs change lives and uplift communities. For the past dozen years, I’ve been obsessed with the world of work and careers. Companies hire me to find exceptional talent and to learn how to find \"needle in a haystack\" talent. Mid-career and early-career professionals hire me to help them secure jobs that are a strong fit for their skills and aspirations. I went through the NYC public school system as an immigrant (born in Ukraine) and was fortunate to have many people and organizations help me. I am grateful to have a chance to give back. At Greylock, I worked with early-career talent (Engineer/Product/Design), chief of staff candidates, operations hires, and talent/people professionals (head of talent, head of people, recruiters). I connected with technical student entrepreneurs starting software businesses and ran several early-career talent networks. Prior to Greylock, I worked at Lerer Hippeau, an earlier stage VC fund and managed talent networks, community, and events. In addition to working in VC and with startups, I worked at two leading universities, Stanford and Columbia. I managed the internship component of Stanford University\'s New York program, focusing on student career advising, professional development, employer relations, and alumni engagement. At Columbia, I supported graduate students through career coaching and developed employer relations with target employers. Helping connect companies to top talent and hearing how those relationships flourish brings me joy! Specialties: recruiting, early career talent, startups, alumni networks, job search, career advice.
