About Yuliana Salinas-Ruiz

Yuliana Salinas has held diverse roles in integrated marketing communications and non-profit development. Her roles at Chicago Queens Magazine, Olson, and La Raza newspaper became the foundation for her path in the communications field. In 2014 her curiosity for Hispanic Marketing helped land her first public relations agency opportunity at Elemento L2. This was a rewarding role that gave her the tools to develop social media campaigns and support marketing communication efforts on behalf of clients.Her work with the Resurrection Project\'s advancement team solidified her passion for non-profit marketing and she went on to support the direct mail fundraising strategies for the American Red Cross with One & All, part of Omnicon Media Group. She is currently the Communications and Marketing Specialist at Chicago Commons and looks forward to bringing her learnings to support the fundraising and communications goals of the organization. Yuliana grew up in Chicago, IL, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast & Electronic Communication and English from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI.
