Georgia Uplift is a statewide cooperative mission Funded by The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) and operated by Service Providers Association for Developmental Disabilities (SPADD). The program connects the intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) workforce with a wealth of resources and a broad network of support. We value and respect the direct support professionals (DSPs) who ensure a continuity of care for Georgia’s population of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). By connecting these frontline professionals to key resources that enable these individuals and their families to thrive, Georgia Uplift seeks to reduce turnover, strengthen IDD organizations, and create a more stable workforce.
