ABOUT YUHAN JOY LIU
I’m currently a Master’s student in Statistics at the University of Calgary, with a strong interest in applied data analysis and research that can make a real-world impact. Most of my experience comes from working with large, real-world datasets, particularly in healthcare and cancer-related research, where I use data to support evidence-based decisions.I enjoy digging into complex problems, finding patterns in data, and then explaining those findings in a clear and practical way to different audiences. I’m comfortable working with tools like R, SQL, and data visualization, and I value collaboration with people from different backgrounds. I’m currently exploring opportunities in data analytics, applied data science, and research-focused roles where I can continue learning, contribute meaningfully, and grow professionally.
