About Yugendran Thiyagarajan
A doctorate with molecular biology expertise. I have won Dr KB Sharma Memorial Award and two other awards during my PhD tenure. I also for the first time, designed, standardized and got NABL accreditation for magnetic bead independent DNA amplification-based detection of Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium spp. in the water samples. Standardisation, validation and verification of new qPCR (real-time PCR), Sanger sequencing and nucleotide fragment analysis based assays is my strength. I also have experience of working in NABL accredited GMP and GLP labs. I have over six years of industrial experience. Presently, I am working as Principal Scientist at Elango Genetics Pvt Ltd since November 2019.
