   I work as a senior software engineer at Australia and New Zealand Bank (ANZ), where I am part of a collaborative team working on a high-impact project to enhance fraud/scam detection and crime issue resolution by integrating PEGA ASW and the Falcon Retail Project. Leveraging technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, REST API, microservices, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Orchestrator, OpenShift, and JUnit, my team and I have automated and optimized fraud detection processes. I have been involved in replacing manual processes with automated feeds between Falcon Retail and ASW, which has significantly improved efficiency and accuracy. My responsibilities include integrating the ASW (Scams/Fraud) app to manage digital, card transactions, and ID takeover cases. I develop and maintain microservices and APIs, ensuring they effectively support fraud detection mechanisms and maintain high system reliability. My role also involves writing and executing unit test cases to validate each component, system performance to address fraud threats, and working closely with cross-functional teams to align on requirements, troubleshoot issues. This project is crucial for improving our ability to prevent and resolve fraud and scam incidents, thereby protecting both the bank and its customers from financial crime.
