ABOUT JACKIE WU

I am a curious, knowledgeable and self-motivated entrepreneur who can work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. This summer, I had my internship at the Entrepreneurship Hatchery at the University of Toronto. As a project manager, I took responsibility to incubate five teams and lead their business development in an early stage. As a result, one of my teams succeeded to make Demo Day. Overall, I developed my leadership on problem-solving, team building and conflict management when providing business advice to young entrepreneurs with technology backgrounds. Additionally, I demonstrated my great leadership in coordinating with international buyers, front-line workers, and suppliers. Equipped with global mindsets, I collaborate effectively with diverse teams in a multicultural working environment. In the past 4 years, my expertise was dealing with import and export of tactical gear, apparel, and equipment. Having working experience in manufacturing, strategic planning, and customer relationship management, I had the opportunity to oversee and optimize operations in the textile supply chain. I utilize culture differences, geopolitics, and marketing strategies to boost both local and international sales. Keep increasing customer satisfaction through building exceptional experience and loyal customer relationships on engagement, attitude, and service. Besides, my study abroad experience develops my ability to think critically and drive innovation insights, while my involvement in social events and business development drives me to help improve social wellbeing at large and make a bigger impact.
