About Yuan Liu

I am currently a ML researcher/engineer at Google DeepMind, working on Gemini post training, coding, and reasoning. I’m a core contributor to Gemini 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, and latest deep think.Previously I worked on ML for healthcare, ranging from radiology image analysis, to dermatology, and to MedPaLM (LLM for health), both as IC and as TLM. I obtained my Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University.
