Datacenter Ecosystem Optimization: Led efforts to resolve critical performance issues across all generations of MI products raised by tier-1 customers. Significantly improve the performance of GEMM, Stream, GPT and Llama workloads in latest CPU+GPU ecosystem clusters. SoC Performance Debug: Led the project to run llama2/3 on emulators with a full software stack to identify and fix critical performance bottlenecks before tape-out. Methodology Improvement: Developed tools to analyze raw results from PMC, TT and PPA logs, and used them to effectively visualize metrics to pinpoint the most likely bottlenecks.
