ABOUT YU JIA

I am a master\'s student in applied analytics at Columbia University, with a bachelor\'s degree in economics from George Mason University. I have completed internships in fintech strategy, equity research, and risk management, where I applied my data analysis, R programming, and analytical skills to various projects and tasks. As a fintech strategy intern at DiDi, I worked with a cross-functional team to conduct macroeconomic research, market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback for the company\'s payment platform. I also helped to design new features and functions for the platform, using data-driven insights and user-centric approaches. As an equity research intern at ZheShang Securities, I collected and synthesized financial data, wrote comments and reports, and analyzed the wind power industry and its leading enterprises. As a risk management intern at KPMG China, I collected and cleaned data, verified internal rating models, and drafted reports and notes. As an economic research intern at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, I analyzed different countries\' prospectus of listed companies and policies. In these roles, I contributed to the team\'s goals, learned from experienced professionals, and demonstrated my ability to handle complex and challenging tasks. I am passionate about applying analytics to solve real-world problems and create value for customers and stakeholders. I am eager to join an organization that values innovation, collaboration, and diversity and where I can leverage my skills and experiences to support its mission and vision.
