Collaborate with cross-functional teams both internal and external on continues measuring product stability and improving production/yield efficiency through quality control (QC) and lean manufacturing.• Drive supply chain quality improvement for cost down, risk management, lead time and delivery schedule.• Manage all board product (both board and system level) quality such as mother board (MB), back panel (BPN), add-on card (AOC) and riser card (RSC) for systems or nodes per month from 8 production lines.• Oversee production process starting from work-order (WO), bill of materials (BOM), incoming quality control (IQC), assembly, hi-pot testing, system testing, burn-in testing, packing, outgoing quality control (OQC) to finish and transfer.• Design, develop and implement electronic red card and QA news board systems globally for big data, deep learning and artificial intelligence (AI) application. • Provide product quality strategies and user experience (UX) suggestions to R&D team for new product design/DRBFM and quality improvement leading to issue an ECO and process change notice (PCN).• Manage a team of four on back panel (BPN) incoming quality control (IQC) and defected board/system failure analysis (FA).• Manage a team of three on product ECO rework and defective product sorting process. • Perform in-process quality control (IPQC) and First Article Inspection (FAI) on production assembly line for SMC bare-bone, OEM and ORD products.• Identify QC issues on site for its symptom, condition and scope and performed failure analysis (FA) through FMEA, 6 Sigma and 5W1H.• Establish corrective action (CA) and preventive action (PA) for short and long term quality improvement.• Request and prepare 8 discipline (8D) and failure analysis report (FAR) from contract manufacturing (CM) and to customer, respectively to identify root cause, resolve defective issues and create product value based on customer feedback.
