About Yu-Chieh Chiang

I\'m an architect and entrepreneur building for making better environment. Before founding Voice Architecture Lab (VAL), I was an Executive Design Director of Aedas and SOM Design Practice Leader, where I involved and designed great diverse projects including headquarters, laboratories, campus, mixed-use and Supertall. We developed creative solutions by learning from different typologies and sizes of projects. After 17 years in the building industry, I understand the complexities of building and planning, and willing to concentrate our limited time and effort on projects need us. VAL was established in 2016. Our wish is to promote environmental improvement, encourage positive response, and reconnect the broken context.    VAL (Voice Architecture Lab) is an United States based architectural design firm with offices in San Jose, Shanghai, and Taipei (in progress). The Principal Architect Yuchieh Chiang and Frank Chiang are both registered architects in New York, USA, and have rich international vision and experience. The goal of Voice Architecture Lab (VAL) is to find the voice from the context, then make it heard and realized. With our rich experience and open mind, spirit of understand others by communication and research, solid technical and design capability to make project happen, we are looking for serving all kinds of projects and people as long as they are looking for customized solutions, and interested in bringing change to the urban, natural, and humanity environment.Our recent projects including a series of urban redevelopments in high density area including office/ residential/ mixed-use, Laboratory campus, Headquarters Campus, Supertall Sheraton Hotel, Tourist Center and building renovation. Our wish is to promote environment improvement, to encourage and discover good elements, and to reconnect broken context. We are looking forward to further support community and corporate to envision better future, from earth to space.
