Responsible for maintenance and support of application life cycle within our Risk systems - Work on a small team of 2 developers reporting to the Chief Risk Officer. Responsible for all Risk application systems including data and reporting within Arya- Responsible for maintenance and monitoring of the application system’s lifecycle. Using a variety of tools such as PCS, MIK, PowerShell, Python, C#, and MS SQL Server- Load data from Barra and Risk Metrics into Risk Systems using SQL/C#/PowerShell- Build and automate dashboards for management/investor relations/operations in SSRS/Excel using T-SQL/C#/Python. Dashboards revolve around the Funds and each Portfolio Manager’s performance (Pnl, Exposure)- In charge of all database issues with SQL Server. Rewrote store procedures, functions, and ad hoc queries for performance. Creating/fixing new indexes on tables. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with locks, read, and random job errors within the existing system. Review/fix existing data pipeline issues.
