Engineering backends and services that power the Ladders\' jobseeker site, with current task of delivering improved site performance, stability and search engine integration.* Improved stability and performance of our news site by moving search and lookup tasks into Elasticsearch backed service, and by safeguarding API\'s with cache and circuit breakers.* Addressed long-lived tech debts, migrating code base to Java 11 and server to Jetty 10, and defining some of our infrastructure in code * Improved our CI/CD by parallelizing build steps and implementing code quality checks * Implemented backends for the recruiter product that supported features such as candidate recommendation, resume redaction, and duplicate job post detection.
