About Yashovardhan Chati
I currently work as a Scientist at TCS Research and Innovation in its Data and Decision Sciences group. Prior to that, I worked at Apple Maps in California as a Machine Learning Engineer. I am an Aerospace and Machine Learning Engineer by training and experience. My doctoral research at MIT involved statistical analysis of flight recorder data to develop data-driven models of aircraft engine fuel burn. I am proficient in machine learning approaches for supervised learning and statistical techniques. I am passionate about aircraft and space systems, as well as the application of machine learning to solve real-world engineering challenges. I strongly believe that technology and education are two important tools to bring about social upliftment.
