Analyze results from 30-60-90 day surveys and manager interviews to identify trends or areas of concern.•Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Administration: Process and monitor FMLA requests, ensuring compliance with federal regulations. •Work collaboratively with Talent Acquisition team and managers to support recruitment and selection process. •Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements (US Federal, State and Canada) to provide consultation on issues related to legal and company procedural compliance, local labour laws, employment regulations reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.Health & Safety: •Participate with managers in incident/accident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.•Submit government forms for work accidents: Québec, British Columbia, New York State, Texas.•Participate in the Health and Safety Committee.•Monitor expiry dates of various certifications.•Annual filing of Occupational Safety and Health Administration OSHA 300A Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses.•Established contracts for safety shoes to meet health and safety requirements. Wrote policy and implemented safety shoes in facilities.•Sourced vendors for medical exams (Québec and British Columbia) which offered better pricing and service. Scheduling of appointments and paperwork for pre-employment exams.
