I teach first and second-year medical students topics ranging from health disparity, anti-racism in medicine, population health, and trauma-informed care. Currently, I am the principal investigator of a US Department of Health and Human Services (Administration for Community Living)-funded three-year project on adapting and piloting a bite-sized parent training for racial and ethnic minority families of children with autism. Partnering with internationally renowned experts on autism and health disparity, we will adapt an evidence-based intervention called Parents Taking Action into short eHealth modules to fit into caregivers\' demanding schedules.
