ABOUT MOHAMMAD YOUSUF

Final Year B.Tech Automobile Engineering Student | Dedicated to Advancements in Crashworthiness, Vehicle Dynamics, and High-Speed Vehicle Safety I am an enthusiastic and aspiring automotive engineer interested in the design, simulation, and crash analysis of high-speed vehicles. Currently, I am in the final year of my B. Tech in Automobile Engineering and am engaged in a capstone project entitled “Crashworthiness of High-Speed Vehicles.” This project uses advanced tools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA, and SolidWorks to simulate crash scenarios and assess structural integrity under extreme conditions. My primary interests encompass vehicle safety research, motorsports engineering, and automotive Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE). I actively seek opportunities to employ simulation tools for impact testing, lightweight material analysis, and performance optimisation within motorsports, particularly in F1. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have completed training at the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), where I gained practical experience in emission compliance and genset testing in accordance with CPCB IV+ norms, further contributing to sustainable automotive advancements. Current Goals- To advance my career in crash simulation, vehicle testing, or race car design (F1/FSAE)- To collaborate on research or internships focusing on vehicle dynamics, electric vehicle safety, or motorsport technologies- To pursue a master’s degree in Automotive and Motorsport Engineering, emphasising safety and structural design. I welcome the opportunity to connect with professionals in the automotive, motorsports, or research sectors, particularly those engaged in initiatives related to vehicle performance, safety, or the future of mobility.
