ABOUT YOUSRA BERHAIL
I am a medical office assistant at Step Medical Clinic, where I work in close collaboration with doctors to optimize patient in a pediatric population. I am also a psychology student at Université de Montréal, with a keen interest in neuroscience and mental health. I have a strong background in clinical psychology and early childhood development. My time as an ambassador for the BRAINterns programme with the Neurosurgery department at Lenox Hill Hospital has strengthened my interests in neurological sciences and healthcare. I also have extensive experience in integrating and caring for children with special needs, such as deafness, anxiety, ASD, and severe PTSD and in curating workshops tailored to their specific needs. I am passionate about improving the health and well-being of children, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
