Work with Program Managers and engineering team to follow up on material orders for mechanical and electrical prototype parts; Manage the working relationships with prototype suppliers: Solve quality, capacity, delivery, cost problems- Lead design/product engineering, purchasing and others to completion of supplier development deliverables like supplier audits, APQP, tooling maturity, inspection reports and PPAP- Computed and created RFQ\'s through QLM sourcing, Purchase Orders on our ERP system (IFS). Implemented cost savings and reduced spend on current Mechanical/Electrical components purchased per program, compared to past programs. Contribute in $2M CAD annual Freight savings/year- Collaberate closely between suppliers and engineering for data/quality inspection approval, standard deviations, SNCR, and Lead times for several projects necessary for DV/PV testing- Manage supplier relationships for prototype commodities such as Mechanical and Electrical Assemblies on multiple supported programs.
