As the CEO of the largest behavioral and developmental disability agency in Texas, I oversee the planning and delivery of behavioral health and intellectual and developmental disabilities services to over individuals per year while leading 2600 team members at 40+ care locations with an annual budget of $373+ million. The organizational structure involves 5 primary divisions (Mental Health, Crisis Services, Forensic Services, Access and Community Engagement, and IDD Services), a foundation, and 4 permanent supportive housing complexes. In addition to our 85+ medical staff members, we partner with 3 academic medical centers as a training site for medical students, psychiatry residents & fellows.• Our continuum of care includes: Integrated primary care at 5 locations, Psychiatric Emergency Center (36 beds), Jail Diversion Center (41 bed), Crisis Respite (16 beds), CSU (16 beds), CRU (18 beds & 16 beds), 24 SRO’s emergently housing homeless, Crisis Call Line + calls and regional 988 response center), 27 CIRT teams, Homeless outreach team, ACT/FACT Teams, multiple outpatient clinics, Offender/Re-Entry Clinics, diversion courts, Harris County Jail (4th largest jail in the country), 5 primary care clinics, Juvenile Detention Services, Alternative Sentencing Dual Dx Resident Treatment Program (140 beds), Peer Respite home (10 beds), Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams, 20 non-law enforcement 911 MH response teams, School based care locations, Detox (8 beds) and outpatient SUD treatment, 5 apartment complexes, 200 transitional housing units, IDD Services, 4 IDD Cottages for residential care, IDD Crisis & Respite, & ECI services
