ABOUT RUTH YOUNG

Hi, I’m Ruth Young. A social media geek for over 20 years. I help businesses and entrepreneurs get the very best from social media with paid ad campaigns, training, mentoring, consultation, and strategy planning. Ruthless Media blends a flair for building digital communities with real-world marketing and training experience. I was pretty successful at building active and engaged digital communities for my employers. I taught myself which platforms were best for each organisation’s needs, discovered all the tricks of the trade for boosting engagement and visibility, and learned to optimise profiles by tweaking settings and polishing online profiles. Creating content, providing professional training, and developing confidence in other people - these were the things that really fired me up in my work, and the things I was best at doing. When I decided to take the leap into self-employment, choosing what to do was the easiest part! I had a clear mission - taking the hassle out of social media marketing for those who don’t have the time, skills or understanding to do it well. It has been a pleasure to work with a really diverse range of businesses from around the world who have trusted me to solve their social media issues and develop their online presence.
