ABOUT DAVID YOUNG

Blagrove Underwriting Agency, a leading provider of insurance solutions, benefits from my expertise and skills as an assistant claims manager. I have been in this role for over two years, after being promoted from a claims handler position within the same company. I have also worked as a senior personal injury claims handler at Broker Direct Plc, gaining valuable experience in handling complex and high-value claims.My core competencies include claim handling, liability assessment, team building, leadership, motivation, performance improvement, cost reduction, profitability enhancement, troubleshooting, support, and training and development. I use these skills to help my team of new and experienced claims handlers achieve the company goals and outperform their key performance indicators. I also help to develop team members into not only excellent handlers, but future managers, as nine of the existing management team in Manchester have been trained and developed by me. I use established and modern techniques, such as TUCKMAN, MYERS-BRIGGS, and neuro-linguistic programming, to get the best from my people. My mission is to provide exceptional service to our clients and partners, while ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance.
